I stumbled across your blog while trying to get info on the COB where one of the guys I deployed to Iraq with last year is going this month. You pictures are amazing. When people ask me what it's like to be in the Army and the inevitable: "What was it like?" It's good to know that there are you guys with cameras right there next to us taking pictures of exactly what it's like. Cause words just won't ever get it across. I'm a medic, so it's usually pretty hard to get a good shot with my camera while still getting the right shots off with my rifle. Like you, I'm looking for the picture that helps define what I do, and what I believe in. You're just a lot better at it. Thank you for being there with that unit. It wasn't my unit, but it's touching to see your dedication in what you did. Thank you.
